My work

I built a React web app with realtime data for managing all aspects of audiobook production. From publishers placing new orders, to producers planning staff and studio hours, feedback and internal communications all the way until packaging and delivering the finished audio and metadata assets to audiobook streaming services.

The project required advanced user management with complex relational data between publishers, titles, narrators, producers and editors. It also included email notifications, serverside audio conversion, packaging and file transfer, financial reporting, automated narrator recommendations based on previous work, translations and many more challenges.

The platform was acquired by Storytel in 2020 and has been rolled out internationally to all of Storytels markets.
